A Time with Him

As I stare at the ticking of a clock,

My heart is pounding, tick thump tick thump,

Expressing my excitement through my thoughts within.

With a joyful heart I will walk while singing a hymn,

Oh how grateful it is to go on my way,

To worship the king of all kings as I dance and sing,

Let alone time just pass by,

For I am praising the Lord almighty one.

I love you with all of my heart,

Oh I love you and I don’t want to be apart,

In you oh Lord I entrust my life,

Fill me with your abounding grace and love.

Lover of My Soul

I've been searching for someone who will listen to me,

I've been looking for someone who will comfort me,

And there you stand with open arms wide,

Saying son, come, and I will give you peace of mind.

Oh Jesus, the lover of my soul,

In every situation you take the full control,

You make things fall into their proper places,

Until everything in my life has its means.

When no one’s there to turn to,

You show me the real you,

As I cry my heart out, Oh Lord unto you,

My comforter and shelter,

My savior and deliverer,

You never fail to take heed to.
